Tbh i would frag any coral you can get your hands on, it helps towards saving the reefs and there will always be someone who is willing to buy them or swap them as everyone has different tastes etc. If there is anything you might need a hand with then please ask on the forums as im sure there are plenty of people about, alternatively try http://www.marinefish-uk.co.uk/forums/ (a forum i am very fond of)

    Thanks

ok thats great guys cheers. I will be fragging them all over the next 2 weeks.

Josh, I am a member on that forum (it was my first forum), but then it wouldn't let me log in a post, so now I use marinefishforum.co.uk. My name is DopeyAlex on both forums.

I will be asking people on this site for advise etc when it comes to fragging and postage etc. Would be great though if we could get this website a bit more active as im sure there are loadz more people selling and trading frags in the uk that dont know about this great site.

Also I watched the Eric Borneman video on fragging last night. WOW...i have never watched something more educational and intresting in my life.

As for posting a method Ive seen used a few times is to wrap the coral in small piece of filter floss then triple bag with enough SW to stop the coral drying out,in small cardboard box with polyballs or similar for insulation & a 24hr heatpack.
    Heatpacks abt £1.40 each like these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tropical-Fish-Cor ... 240%3A1318

Postage is usually Special Delivery nxt day by 1.00pm costs £5.05 up to 500gm £6.40 up to 1Kg

I am working on this and have shown quite a large growth since 1 month ago, we have had 40 new members register which is good for a forum this size but i agree it would be great to get this off the ground more. There are various ways we can get more people to the site -

    - General word of mouth from people on here
    - Sponsor other forums
    - Make posters and send them out to participating fish stores
    - Paid advertising

    - Im sure that there are other ways to advertise the site but my mind has temporary gone blank

    Thanks

    josh
